The Islamic Missionaries’ Association of Nigeria (IMAN), has described the departed Former Kwara State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice Alh. Aliyu Alarape Salman, SAN as a devout and committed Muslim who devoted his entire life, time, energy and financial resources to the service of God and humanity.
This was contained in a Tribute in honour of deceased released today and jointly signed by the Chairman of the Association Alhaji Abdullahi Nurudeen and the Vice-Chairman Alhaji Ibrahim Abdullahi.
In it, the IMAN stated that it benefitted immensely from deceased as a Foundation Member of the Association since its establishment in 1974 and that Daily Annual Ramadan Lectures it pioneered in Nigeria in Ilorin since 1974 had Late Legal Luminary – Alh. Aliyu Salman among others as its Guest Speaker, Guest of Honour or Chairman adding that his invaluable contribution to other Islamic Organizations like Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria, Ansarul Islam Society of Nigeria and Muslim Corpers Association remains part of his wonderful services to Islam and humanity.
IMAN described Late Senior Advocate of Nigeria as an exceptional figure that would never be forgotten in Nigeria for his contribution to the political and socio-economic development of the Country.
The Association appealed to his wife Alhaja Maryam Salman and the entire family to emulate the good characters of Alhaji Aliyu Salman, SAN – praying to Almighty Allah to reward the departed Legal Luminary with Al- Jannatul-Firdaous.
