The Muslim Media Watch Group of Nigeria (MMWG) came into being in Year 2016, following noticeable gap in Da’wah activities in Nigeria. As powerful as Mass Media in the world today, there appears to be lack of adequate knowledge, understanding and perception of things by many Muslims and Islamic Organizations, as the onslaught agaianst Islam and the Muslims in the Media was becoming unbearable before the association was formed.
