The Muslim Media Watch Group of Nigeria has hailed the release of the balance of 4 Kadriyyah siblings by their abductors.
The release of the victims which took place last night (Saturday 20th January, 2024) was a welcome development, the Group said.
The 4 siblings released last night are Najeebah Alkadriyyah and Nadheerah AlKadriyyah who are both students of Ahmadu Bello University Zaria and their twins Sisters – Habeebah and Haneeza – who have all returned to their Familiy Homes in Bwari, Abuja – the Federal Capital Territory.
In its Press Statement jointly signed by the National Coordinator of the Group, Alh. Ibrahim Abdullahi, and the Secretary, Dr. Nasir Balogun, the Group thanked Almighty Allah for the release of the siblings; adding that with intense prayers nothing is impossible.
The Group said the problem of insecurity stemmed from lust for quick wealth, poor upbringing of the youth by Parents and Guardians, extravagancy on the part of the rich in the Society, poor values orientation from the people and the Government as well as corruption on the part of those charged with enhancement of security.
It called on all Nigerian Security Agencies to be more proactive in detecting and curbing insecurity; stating that with technological development, perpetrators of crimes could be tracked-down before embarking on their evil mission or while doing the act.
The Group called for true patriotism on the part of all Nigerians especially the political elites – stating further that the way some of the serving political office holders live, the way they conduct their social lives and organise their ceremonial occasions encourage crimes in the Society.
MMWG commended the Nigeria Police for tracking-down some serving policemen that have been accused of kidnapping and collection of ransom in the South East and South-South – calling for dismissal and prosecution of ‘all the bad eggs’ in our Security Systems so as to have responsible Security Forces in charge of our affairrs….
