The Muslim Media Watch Group of Nigeria has described the death of a Former Kwara State Commissioner for Information, Youth and Social Development Alhaji Ibrahim Adebayo Ajani as a great loss to Kwara State in particular and the Nation at large.
In a message of condolence to the family of the deceased, on behalf of the Group, the National Coordinator – Alhaji Abdullahi Ibrahim said Alhaji Adebayo Ajani who hails from Ikotun in Oyun Local Government of the State, was a ‘model for the righteous’ as his life was characterised with devotion to worship of God, humility, perseverance, hardwork and dedication to duty among other virtues.
He said Alhaji Adebayo Ajani would never be forgotten for his contribution to the development of Kwara State including service to the teaching profession and provision of infrastructure for the masses in Kwara State in the era of defunct Kwara State Directorate of Food & Rural Roads Infrastructure (DFRRI).
He appealed to people of goodwill to turn-out en masse for the Fidau Prayers for the deceased at his Residence located at No. 11 Agba Road, GRA, Ilorin on Wednesday this week by 10.00 am.
In similar vein, the Muslim Media Watch Group has sympathised with the family of a Senior Journalist and strong member of Kwara NUJ, Mal. Bashir Ademola Jimoh of Radio Kwara who answered the call of Almighty Allah yesterday.
In its tribute, Muslim Media Watch Group described the sudden exit of Mr. Bashir Jimoh as shocking!
The Group however comforted his family and Media colleagues that Mr. Bashir lived a life worthy of emulation, pointing out that indeed ‘Life is not for how long one lived, but how well one lived It’, praying to Almighty Allah to grant Mal. Bashir Ademola Jimoh His forgiveness and Al-Jannatul-Firdaous; as well as take good care of his dependants…. Amin
